Maia Kutner

Maia Kutner joined in November 2024 as WBCSD's Global Director, Greenhouse Gas Protocol. In her role she will co-lead the GHG Protocol secretariat alongside WRI’s Greenhouse Gas Protocol Global Director.

Maia has over 15 years of experience working on climate change issues with organisations across the private and public sectors.  She has extensive experience leading global programs and teams, building partnerships, and developing and implementing strategy.

Maia joined WBCSD from CDP, where she led two flagship programmes- Corporate Reporting and Cities.  As Global Director of Cities, States and Regions, she led a team that works with over 1,200 cities, states and regions on climate measurement and reporting.  Previously, as Director of Corporate Reporting, Maia led a team that developed environmental reporting metrics and guidance materials used by over 6,000 global companies, including 95% of FTSE100.

Maia has an MSc in Environmental Policy and Regulation from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a BA in Philosophy, Political Science and Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

She lives with her family in London, UK.
